Their theatre and ours 2: a people’s translation workshop with Joey Simons

Join artist and writer Joey Simons for a second free translation workshop as part of his new Workers’ Theatre exhibition for Market Gallery.

Collectively we will work to translate and discuss revolutionary theatre texts and prepare playscripts for future performances. Drawing on traditions of working-class self-education, the ethics and contradictions of new translation technology, and debates on language and power, we will experiment with creating practical documents to play with and test.

No language skills needed – food and refreshments provided.
