Saturday 22 March 2014 8pm – 10pm

For one night only, come and experience Edinburgh based artist Thomas Anderson’s: ‘Miscellany: Revised Moments and Cinematic Artefacts’, a collection of installed video works, utilising a variety of inspiring objects from Titan Props store.

Thomas Anderson creates adaptations from memorable works of fiction; however, they are firmly rooted in reality with moving image and stills visually representing the punctuation of life. Full stops, commas and certainly exclamations illustrate moments in our lives depicted by characters in films we do not know and have not seen. Through the accumulation and amalgamation of found image this collection of works stands as an attempt to express fleeting moments as something more comprehensible.

Thomas Anderson was born in Falkirk and has lived all over Scotland. He studied Photographic and Electronic Media at Grays School of Art in Aberdeen. Having graduated in the summer of 2012 he relocated to Edinburgh here he now lives and works.

Event runs: 8pm-10pm, with a donations bar and free sweet treats kindly provided by Tunnock’s.

Directions to Titan Props: Get off at Kinning Park subway, head over the motorway bridge and look for the signs. The entrance is right next to the south exit of the bridge.
